When I was feeling like I was really out of shape, I decided to start eating healthier and got some new running shoes. I was out jogging all of the time, even when it was during the heat of the day. People were telling me that I should only jog in the early morning and at night, but I thought the extra heat would help me sweat more and lose extra weight. Besides, I had a smart thermostat so I could easily adjust the temperature control settings as needed. I figured when I was jogging back home, I would crank up the temperature control settings and get the A/C really blasting. Well, the last time I did this, it was especially hot outside. I was so exhausted from the heat that I was about ready to collapse. I cranked the A/C up so high that it became a problem that I did not foresee happening. When I got back to my house, it wasn’t even cold inside, but it was actually kind of overheated. I learned that I cranked the A/C so high that it caused the A/C system to break down. I had to call an HVAC company to get it repaired asap. Fortunately, I was able to go to my neighbor’s house and he let me stay there to enjoy the A/C until the HVAC repairman arrived at my place. He was saying it was dangerous to go jogging during a heatwave, I could have collapsed from heat stroke. He was really nice though and provided me ice-cold water so that I could recover from the heat.
