My brother is such an idiot.
I remember how we always called him a dunce and we would get in trouble, but the name fit him.
I never thought he would find a career that he could stick with. No matter what he tried to do, he ended up getting fired. It was usually dumb stuff, but some of it was serious. He worked with an electrician for a while and we thought he would find his niche. When the ambulance was called because he had tried to use a screwdriver on a live wire, we knew he would not be an electrician. He was helping as a plumber’s apprentice and he ended up hitting a city water pipe and flooding the entire house. Then he tried to work as an attendant in a hospital. All he had to do was empty trash cans and clean the bathrooms and he screwed up. He left water on the floor which a patient in and ended up injuring his ankle. The patient was already in the hospital because of a head injury. Now, he is talking about going to school to become an HVAC technician. I’m wondering how he will work on a furnace without burning a house down. I can imagine what will happen when he is allowed to work on ductwork. He may forget to put in the rivets in the metal. He may dent the fan blades when working on the air conditioning. I really hope I’m wrong, because he is really excited about becoming a HVAC technician. I guess we can only wait and see.
