My brother is such an idiot.
I remember how all of us consistently called him a dunce and all of us would get in trouble, however the name fit him.
I never thought he would find a work that he could stick with. No matter what he tried to do, he ended up getting fired. It was usually dumb stuff, however some of it was serious. He worked with an electrician for a while and all of us thought he would find his niche. When the ambulance was called because he had tried to use a screwdriver on a live wire, all of us knew he would not be an electrician. He was helping as a plumber’s apprentice and he ended up hitting a city water pipe and flooding the entire house. Then he tried to work as an attendant in a hospital. All he had to do was empty trash cans and scrub the lavatorys and he screwed up. He left water on the floor which a patient in and ended up injuring his ankle. The patient was already in the hospital because of a head injury. Now, he is talking about going to college to become an Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C professional. I’m wondering how he will work on a oil furnace without burning a house down. I can imagine what will happen when he is allowed to work on HVAC duct. He may forget to put in the rivets in the metal. He may dent the fan blades when working on the air conditioner. I entirely hope I’m wrong, because he is entirely happy about becoming a Heating, Ventilation in addition to A/C professional. I believe all of us can only wait and see.
