Everybody knows that your family can drive you bonkers.
As much as you prefer them and want them to be involved with your life, the old relationship dynamics are absolutely going to be challenging for the rest of your entire life.
At least, this is the case in my immediate and extended fam. The older that I get, the more strength our relationships get as the people I was with and I all transform into different humans who can’t ever seem to get along. In the last few months I have fallen into unlucky hardships having to do with my work and home situation and financial stability. As a result, I found myself back at my family house, relying on their roof for keeping shelter over my head. For the most part, we have been getting along, however I do pray that the people I was with and I didn’t have central heating and cooling. For some reason, I am deathly afraid of the air vents in the house. I know that the duct work provides an extremely conducive environment for sound traveling through the air vents. This aspect of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan makes it seem as if I can never get away from my family. Even when I’m on the other side of the beach house I know how the people I was with and I are connected through the a/c unit and forced air furnace. The forced air that passes through the ductwork is amazing and feels wonderful, however I wish that sounds didn’t travel in the Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan so easily. Every time I need to overhear my family talking shit about myself and others through the air vents, I wish that I could plug up my ears or finally transport back out of the house.
