My best buddy absolutely loves to go camping in his RV with his family. He told me there was a big problem with the climate control system in the RV. He basically said that the climate control system was designed to go obsolete within a certain amount of time. This basically meant that the climate control system would have to be serviced continually and there were a lot of expensive repairs to keep the climate control system working. He actually came up with a brilliant solution though. He decided that he was going to install a ductless mini split in the RV because these systems are known to last anywhere from 20 to 30 years. Not only did he go for the ductless mini split, but he also decided to hook it up to solar panels that he had installed on top of the RV. This made it so the climate control system could be operated with free energy from the sun. The way he had everything installed is absolutely beautiful, and he is able to get heating and cooling 24/7 with his RV now. The way the ductless mini split is set up is absolutely stunning. He has the drain set up going through the back bumper and the A/C condenser unit is set up on a special mount on the back of the RV. Because the ductless mini split A/C condenser is designed to handle vibrations, driving on the road doesn’t affect the performance in the least! Having gone camping with him a few times, I really must say that the ductless mini split addition to the RV was a very smart idea!
