I can not believe it has been over 30 years since I first graduated heating and air conditioning school and became a certified heat and a/c specialist.
It really seems like it was just yesterday. I have been working for this big HVAC company in my city for that long as well now and it has been a great and steady career in the heating and cooling business. My retirement is just around the corner. Another year and it will be time for me to take my retirement and get my pension. I am looking forward to it I can not lie. It has been a very hard working 30 years repairing and installing central heating and air conditioning systems. And although I enjoyed it, it is really wearing me out as I get older. Not to mention I would like to have more time to spend with my wife. Our kids are out on their own now, so that there tells me how old I am and how long I really have been working as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist. I have been seeing young and upcoming heat and a/c specialists joining the company that are in their 20s just like I was back in the day. It really is hard to believe that this much time has passed and I am as old as I am now! It seriously almost freaks me out. But again, I am really looking forward to retiring from the heating and air conditioning business and not having to work at all anymore.
