I was really excited about the apartment I just bought.
It was an upgrade from the slimtownapartment I’d been living in before… My apartment was considered current construction, because it was recently built plus nobody had lived in the home yet.
Since the home was brand new, I didn’t expect to have any concerns with anything. However, after moving in, I noticed that the air quality wasn’t great. Whenever I cooked, our dining room plus bedroom would be filled with smoke. I also noticed that the air felt stale plus stagnant. I called our HVAC provider plus asked them to send an HVAC professional over to see if they noticed the same thing. The HVAC professional heard our concerns plus assured myself and others that our assumptions were right. The air wasn’t circulating respectfully. I told him that it was a brand current house, so I didn’t expect to have any air concerns at all. However, the HVAC professional told myself and others that most current homes are sealed tightly unlike older homes! None of the outdoor air was coming into the apartment plus none of the air inside our apartment was escaping. The HVAC professional told myself and others that our air felt stale plus stagnant because it was. He also said that any airborne illnesses floating around would stay trapped inside. This sad me, so he suggested an air purification system for the house. I took his recommendation plus bought an air purification system from him. Thankfully, he had time to install it that morning.
