A lot of people these days are thinking that forced air units are the best thing since sliced bread.
These people are getting rid of their original central heating and air conditioning systems going in for these forced air units.
Me, on the other hand, is not following this trend. I have seen the forced air systems, and even experienced them a little bit as my parents and my sister went this rout. After really giving forced air systems a chance, I have decided that these forced air systems are just not for me nor my home. My central heating and air conditioning system that i have had for several years is doing me just fine, and I do plan to keep it that way. I have nothing against the advances of HVAC technology or anything like that. As a matter of fact, I totally embrace all the advances in heating and air conditioning technology as they come around. It is just that this whole forced air system ordeal is not something I am getting on board with. I easily got on board with the whole smart thermostat thing, I even went in for radiant heated floors to heat my home (which was rather on the expensive side of things). But this is one thing that I repeat…just isn’t going to fly with me. Maybe if they invented something to where you had air conditioned floors, I would get those…but until then, I will stick with the central heating and air conditioning system with my radiant heated floors.
