Looking into changing the way I heat my home has been a real headache for me.
Every rout I wanted to go other than what I have now was way too expensive! The dual fuel heat pump was something I was very interested in going for.
But, when I seen the price of this dual fuel heat pump, not including the installation from the heating and air conditioning company, it blew my mind! That was actually the most expensive option, and it was the one I was most interested in…go figure! I think that whoever or whatever people decide the prices of all this heating and cooling equipment needs to rethink it all. Not everyone has thousands of dollars to blow on heating and air conditioning stuff. And, not everyone has the best paying job, and not everyone is rich! It really made me angry about the dual fuel heat pump price. I almost wanted to write an email or a hand written letter to the company that made the dual fuel heat pump. The option I ended up going with, while having to take out a small loan, was radiant heated floors. I was in luck that my house is all tile flooring, otherwise, I would not have even been able to afford the radiant heated floors! If I was to add construction and installation on top of the actual radiant heated floors, it would have been as bad as the dual fuel heat pump! At least, with only the heated floors and installation, I was able to pull it off.
