When our husband plus I first got married, our loft was the perfect size for the more than one of us.
Over the years, we’ve added multiple children plus more than one cats to our family.
The loft became terribly cramped. All of us decided the youngsters needed to each have their own rooms, which necessitated a sizeable addition. The most hard part of our project was determining how to handle temperature control. In the section where the two of us live, the weather is dire just about all year round. All of us need some type of whole-condo heating plus cooling system. The existing loft was already equipped with a forced air gas furnace plus central air conditioner. All of us considered extending the duct system to the current space however were reluctant to sacrifice square footage plus invest so much money; Plus, the two of us distraught that the smaller gas furnace plus air conditioner wouldn’t be able to handle the extra demand. All of us started looking into an option that could be installed without a huge drain on our budget. After some research, I came across ductless systems. A ductless heat pump provides both heating plus cooling capacity. A single outdoor compressor attachs to up to eight individual air handlers. The air handlers are mounted up high on the wall plus feature a separate control unit. This allows the temperature in each room to be customized to personal preference. The ductless heating plus cooling system includes inverter technology that automatically adapts speeds to demand. The system is able to run longer at lower speeds, conserving energy plus offering more even temperature. The ductless multi-chop system provided the ideal solution to the needs of our condo addition.
