I’m not paying for PPC advertising if it doesn't work

My brother and I have a small heating and air conditioning repair company.

We also offer refrigeration services.

We are one of the only heating and air conditioning companies in the city to offer refrigeration services at such low prices. It’s one of the biggest reasons why we stay in business. A couple of months ago, we were approached by an online marketing firm. They talked to us about PPC advertising. The online marketing firm guaranteed that they could boost our sales in three months. My brother and I didn’t believe that was possible, but they offered a money back guarantee. During the first 30 days, the online marketing firm worked on our SEO and keywords. During the second 30 days, the online marketing firm worked on our logo, graphics, and overall design. In the third month, we submitted our website to several different places. We were set up for PPC advertising. My brother and I had to set up our account with $500, and we assumed this amount of money would last for several months. Unfortunately, we went through $200 in PPC advertising on the first weekend. We barely saw a jump in sales or phone calls. At the end of 90 days, my brother and I were very disappointed with the service. We asked them to provide a refund for the rest of our agreement. If the PPC advertising isn’t going to work, then we’re not going to continue to spend hundreds of dollars to advertise our heating and air conditioning company. We can spend hundreds of dollars to advertise on the radio, and at least we would know that our ad is reaching thousands of listeners.
