My kittens wonder what the heck this weird round animal is that roams my house occasionally.
It’s my robot vacuum cleaner with a HEPA filter built in to catch a lot of the dust that settles on the floor.
The other day my one kitten Little Bear was sitting on the robot while it was docked, so of course I had to turn it on to see what happened. Little Bear wasn’t sure what was happening when it started moving and sat on it for a few seconds before freaking out and jumping off of it and running away. It was pretty funny to me and maybe him too. I am going to work on my ductwork today in the attic because it is cloudy and cool out and I don’t have any other plans. The tape is apparently coming off of the ducts in some spots because I noticed the airflow is a lot less than it used to be and it’s not from a dirty filter. I went to the HVAC business and got some duct tape and also checked out their new HEPA filters because mine is pretty much shot. I want to switch to a washable filter so I don’t have to toss any more of these disposable ones in the trash bin. I think I can get all of the ductwork taped and done within a couple of hours if I put my head down and just knock it out. I’ll shut off my phone so nobody can distract me and just get to work.
