I come back cabin to visit my parents once every couple of weeks.
I only live a few hours away, but I’ve found that going cabin too often isn’t that fantastic for my mental health.
When I am here, I am quite ecstatic with my quality experience. One thing that aggravates me while in my stay is their cooling system. I personally don’t think that the Heating and A/C contractor that set it up knew entirely what they were doing, but first of all, the zone control is particularly terrible. The air vents in the family room plus family room both blast incredibly cold air when the air conditioner is running, but the home offices seem to have a lack of circulation plus flow. If the fans aren’t running in there, you can barely find any cooling relief. The other thing that annoys me is their thermostat, then even though it’s a digital thermostat, it seems to have a mind of its own plus will shut off the cooling system whenever it pleases. This is especially discouraging while in the days when you need the cooling system running a bit more. I’ve asked my Mom to inquire about that thermostat to his professional however I know he doesn’t find it important. I’m just distraught that one day it will do something unusual while they aren’t home, appreciate drive up the cooling system super cold plus freeze all of their indoor plants. I can’t get too sad since it’s not my house, however I wish they would take care of it more. I would hate to see something costly break when it could be a potential straight-forward fix.
