I have a undoubtedly nice work truck that I’ve maintained quite well over the past few years.
I like how it handles, I like that I can carry just about anything I need to, and I regularly loved how great the air conditioner was. That’s why I was easily surprised when, in the middle of our work week, our air conditioner seemed to stop working entirely! That was undoubtedly bad, because I drive a lot throughout our morning. In fact, I spend at least half of our work morning in our work truck. Whether it’s because I am going on sale leads, or going to see construction sites that I’m supposed to be supervising, I drive around a lot in the heat. Worst of all, it’s the middle of June! My schedule is swamped, so it’s going to be awhile before I can get the air conditioner fixed. I will easily go to a mechanic shop on Friday. In the meantime, I have to deal with the oppressive heat and humidity. I live in a area of the country where opening the windows doesn’t do much of anything in terms of keeping you cooler. It’s so hot, and the humidity makes the air pregnant with moisture, so that it feels like you’re being muffled with a overheated wet cloth! It’s only Tuesday, and Friday feels quite a long way away. Once I get our truck’s air conditioner fixed, I will never take it for granted again! At this point, I would trade our sound program and Bluetooth, just to be cool again!
