Call myself and others ridiculous, but I’ve dreamed of this day.
Soon, I will be moving into a home of my own! Granted, I will be renting at this time. With the housing market so bad right now, I don’t have much of a choice. I like to be optimistic. I am 23 years old, and I have only ever lived with my parents. I was able to drive to university classes instead of residing on campus, which was good for avoiding debt; Now, this may seem love a small thing, although I am looking forward to being able to dictate the temperature in my home! I have constantly been the only 1 in my family of four that preferred much cooler room hot and cold temperatures. My mom and dad were insistent that the thermostat never go below 74 degrees Fahrenheit. In fact, it was quite often set to 70 degrees, then at that point, I wondered if there was any reason to have an Heating and A/C system to begin with. I didn’t often mention how I felt about it, because then, my Dad or Mom would say sarcastically, “You believe what? You’re right, however let’s turn off the a/c and open the windows! Well, no more residing under that oppressive regime. Call myself and others ridiculous, but I’ve dreamed of this day. Mom would constantly warn myself and others that once it was on myself and others to pay the electric bill, I would learn why she was so hesitant to turn the thermostat down. Well, forget that! Some things are worth paying for. I swear, I’m going to have the thermostat set all the way down to 65 tonight. It will be blissful!
