When I started my business, I really didn’t know anything about online advertising.

The internet was still pretty new and everyone was trying to figure out how to navigate advertising.

I used a website tool that allows you to create a website from scratch. I did the best I could with all of the resources that I had available. I decided to do pay per click advertising when I first began to advertise my heating and AC business. I put $200 in the PPC advertising account. I honestly believe that the $200 account would last the entire month. Unfortunately, I didn’t know the first thing about pay-per-click advertising and I ran through that budget in the first three days. When I received the email from the pay per click advertising website, I thought it must have been a mistake. I had spent $200 in pay-per-click advertising and I had not received a single sale or even a phone call. I was discouraged greatly after that happened and I didn’t want to waste any more money. My brother told me to find an online advertising company that specializes in search engine optimization and pay per click advertising. The search proved to be difficult. Eventually I found a company that could help with the work that I needed. These days I have a website and advertising manager that handles everything associated with the heating and air conditioning business. The young guy was friends with my kids in high school and he is a whiz with computers and everything online.
