When my air conditioning system stopped working 3 months ago at first I didn’t know what I was going to do. I didn’t think that I would be able to live without my air conditioning system. How was I going to keep my home cool if I didn’t have ac? The type of environment that I live in isn’t exactly the kind that you can just go without air conditioning. I live in a hot desert environment, and because of this I’m always having to maintain my air conditioning system if I don’t want it to break down. However, the air conditioning system was old and I guess it just couldn’t take the heat anymore and it broke down. At first I was really worried, the temperatures in here could rise really high, even dangerously high. But when I had the local heating guy come out and he gave me an estimate on how much it would cost to have a replacement I knew immediately that I wasn’t willing to pay that much. So I decided to take a risk and just do without an air conditioning system, and you know what it actually wasn’t as bad as I thought. I just went down to my local heating and AC business and I got a couple of window air conditioning systems. When it got really hot I put both of the window air conditioning systems and two different windows in the room and I let them blast that cold air on. It worked surprisingly well and I stayed cool, at least as long as I was in my bedroom I stayed cool. Sure it wasn’t as nice as having a central air conditioner but it also wasn’t as expensive either.
