There’s nothing better than to cuddle up with your partner next to the warm glow of a cozy fireplace whilst enjoying a delicious home-made dinner and fine wine.
I’m very fond of fireplaces, not only because they provide warmth during the colder months, but they also add an element of comfort and relaxation to any living space.
Personally, I prefer the feel of a traditional wood-burning fireplace. However, I can understand why some people will opt for gas fireplaces. They require little maintenance and can be controlled with a remote. Also, electric fireplaces are great if you want to conserve the look and feel of a traditional fireplace without the hassle of cleaning up ashes and scooting. Traditional fireplaces also produce a great deal of smoke, which can cause eye irritation, headaches, dizziness and coughing. For this reason, my partner has been pressuring me to buy a natural-gas furnace to keep the entire house warm. It’s true that a traditional fireplace may not be the most efficient way of heating up the house. Ductless HVAC systems can offer a clean and energy-efficient alternative that can save us money on energy bills, but it’s important to get the furnace filter regularly checked and perform any necessary repairs, tune-up, or service to ensure optimal performance. One of the main benefits of ductless HVAC systems is their flexibility, they don’t require ductwork and can be installed anywhere in the home. After much research and contemplation, we figured that the most attractive option for us is to combine furnace heating with a traditional fireplace so we can still enjoy the warm glow of relaxation and coziness in our home.
