The rain regularly cools down the house when it falls on the roof

We don’t end up having to use the air conditioner as much when it’s raining outside.

Before I moved to the current state of residing, my hometown rarely got any rain throughout the year. We had concerns with droughts regularly as well. And when you have droughts, you also run into wildfires. I dreamed of moving to some locale where there would easily be rainfall throughout the year. However, I didn’t expect to move up to a locale where it would rain non-stop. And that is exactly what happened when I lived in the Pacific Northwest for a handful of years. It was severely raining all of the time and I would not even know what to do about it. Now I live in a region where the weather is fairly mixed throughout the year. We get a lot of moderate weather after Spring kicks in between March and early may. That’s when the temperature starts to get absolutely moderate and the sunlight gets intense outside. The house starts to naturally moderate up and my pal and I end up having to turn the air conditioner on. Whenever it finally does rain, especially in the late summer, it’s absolutely calm and peaceful on the outside of the house, but you can hear it hit the roof top and blanket the windows. When it rains it naturally cools down the house as well. We don’t end up having to use the air conditioner as much when it’s raining outside. This year we’ve been getting a ton of rainfall in the early summer time when my pal and I usually get in the late summer. It got so bad that it easily flooded one of the towns down the road. As long as the rain just cools off the house and does not detriment our property, I am glad for it to keep lowering our energy bill with our air conditioner.
