Maybe the HVAC scammers hacked my devices

To put it simply, I can’t keep dealing with this issue.

  • My telephone rings many times a day, and each time it is a scam artist promising me a superb discount on upgrading my electric heater.

Last month, I had a HVAC professional come to my home and upgrade my HVAC heating system. I was previously using a gas heater and decided I wanted a change, so I went with a new unit. Somehow, these scammers must have known that I was looking to upgrade my heating system at some point recently. Maybe my telephone or tablet was hacked. That’s the only thing I can guess it could be. My friend Pier told me that he often gets calls about the length of his auto warranty. My other friend, Sue, says she gets random calls about her auto insurance policy a day. I can frankly say that I am getting more and more horrified by each new telephone call I receive. I used to respond to them, and once I almost got caught. But luckily I managed to outwit the scammer. Then I started to mess with them so much to kill time. That soon got outdated and boring. These days, when I look at my cell phone, I just roll my eyes knowing that it is another scam about my heating system. It’s just getting aggravating. I have asked around to see if there was anything I can do, but there actually isn’t anything. I always warn my friends about the potential scams that are out there because I know I don’t want anyone to fall victim to them.
