Tomorrow will be the first day of the Summer schedule for me.
It’s Sunday and we are just getting into the level of heat and humidity that we’ll see for the next four months.
And so, this is going to be the first weed that I switch over to the Summer work and life schedule. Working from home means that I sort of merge both my work and life schedule. It totally works for me and I wonder why I ever worked inside the commercial HVAC of and office. Having the whole day to work is something that I just fell in love with once I made working from the central air conditioning of home permanent. Honestly, it was such an easy decision. And had it not been cool for me to continue working remotely, I think I’d have had to find another job. Fortunately, my work spoke for itself during the pandemic when we weren’t inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office. My bosses were good with me working from home on a permanent basis. So when the Summer months roll around, I change up my schedule around the heat and humidity. Starting tomorrow, I’ll get up before 5 am and get outside of the air conditioning for a walk, a ride or some sort of exercise. This is the only time that it’s comfortable to be getting the heart rate up outside during the Summer. Then, it’s home to work in the air conditioning of my house until it mid afternoon when it gets quite warm in my home. That’s because I keep good thermostat discipline. I get out to do errands or whatever before coming back to a house that is cooling down to finish up my workday.
