A/C helps after sunburn

It was a relatively cool afternoon even though I still took our neighbor up on his invitation to spend some time down at his lakeside property, and at first, the people I was with and I were hoping it would be sizzling enough for swimming or rafting however it wasn’t… Yes, it was one of the first mornings where the temperature hit 72 degrees this year, however, the water was still under 50 degrees as well as there was no way I was going in it… So, instead, the people I was with and I sat around fishing, reading, as well as talking until sunset! Then the people I was with and I had a big campfire, by the end of the afternoon I was exhausted as well as thrilled to go to our own home, it wasn’t until I started driving house that I realized I was feeling entirely hot.

  • At first I thought it was because it had gotten frigid outside.

But, when I got home, I noticed that I had a terrible sunburn. It was all over our arms, legs, as well as face. I thought it was too cool as well as overcast for sunburns. Boy was I wrong! My whole body felt like it was on fire as well as I felt nauseous. Thankfully our house has an excellent cooling system. I felt a bit ridiculous turning on our cooling system as the temperature dropped outside even though I didn’t have a choice. I sat in front of our cooling system vent on the couch as well as quickly fell asleep. The cool air felt so nice as well as refreshing against our sunburn. I didn’t wake up until afternoon. I woke up then because I was chilly cold. I still had a sunburn however it wasn’t burning sizzling anymore. The cooling system took care of that for me. I also no longer felt sick to our stomach.
