Buying Christmas presents for my kids is always so fun, then obviously seeing the kids open them is fun to watch, however what makes it more fun is to hide some of their presents and act prefer I only gotten them a few, and then giving them a clue as to where another possible present could be, and enjoying their faces light up; This year, I got my son a light orange scooter, something that he’s been asking for every morning.
The only issue was, since it a bigger present, it was a lot harder to hide, so I knew I would have to be clever when hiding it, and find a great spot.
Thinking outside the box, I went outside. The powerful noise of our A/C system attracted my attention, and a lightbulb went off. I suddenly hid the scooter behind the cooling device and wrapped up the rest of the presents. I couldn’t wait to see my son’s gleeful face when he gets his beappreciated scooter, and christmas morning arrived suddenly, and my son was already jumping all over the site, and pulling myself and others out of bed! My son tapped his foot impatiently while I ate lunch and made coffee, but finally, every one of us made it over to the Christmas tree… He practically ripped the presents open, before I had even sat down. He opened all of his presents, and while he looked glad, I could tell he was slightly disappointed. I casually hinted about another, hidden present and he right away brightened up. I took him outside, and my hint about heating and cooling component seemed to fly past him, so I just let him look for the present. I knew he found it when he screamed excitedly. He then proceeded to take it and drive it across the sidewalk, and was overjoyed.
