Cheap isn’t always the best

My Grandma always told me that when you buy something, you get what you pay for… When I was a kid, I never had a clue what she was talking about. It just never made any sense to me, now that I’m older, though, I can really see what Grandma meant, then the perfect example of this is when I had to buy a new a/c plan last summer. The central a/c plan that was previously in my house had completely conked out. I know it was a really old air conditioner, and I think it had just run its course. When the a/c went out, it was in the middle of the summer. The temperature outside was in the high eighties that month and I can remember being just annoyed in the heat. So instead of waiting around and trying to get a great quality Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker out to my house to service the a/c, I went with the quickest and cheapest Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company in town. They were able to come out very quickly because they didn’t have any other appointments lined up. I think that should have been my first clue! The Heating, Ventilation, and A/C workers didn’t charge me very much for fixing my air conditioner. I think it’s because they didn’t really spend that much time on it! And I found out after I got the bill that it was because they didn’t really service it! The a/c worked for a couple of weeks after they came to the house as well as then it quit on me again.
