Does your wedding have heating or air?

As a photographer, I often go to different places all week long.

The events I like the best are the ones that have proper heating and air conditioning.

Being comfortable does actually impact the quality of the pictures that I take. As soon as I arrive at a wedding, or other event, I can tell if venue has good climate control or not. If it has good climate control, I know I will have a good day at work. If it doesn’t, I know it will not be so great. I want to be able to give my customers great pictures to remember their big days. That is why I have expensive cameras and other equipment and I take good care of them too. Is it so much to ask that the venues I work also have the proper equipment; like air conditioning and heating? I don’t care if it is an outside event, at least the tents should have proper heating and air so I can warm up or cool down, depending on what the weather is doing. I would think that my clients would want to be comfortable for their big days too. And yet, many don’t even think to ask about heating or air conditioning. They either assume the place has it or that they can’t get it outdoors. Lately I have been asking for confirmation of heat and air before I take a job. I can afford to. What I can not afford is to be uncomfortable all day long while trying to perfect my medium.
