My mom has got to be one of the hardest people on earth to buy presents for! She always goes out and gets everything that she wants for herself, but I don’t know what she’s thinking, but she tends to go out shopping right before her birthday and just before Christmas. It drives me crazy. I was thinking about what to get her for her birthday this year, and I was just at a complete loss, but then I happened to see a commercial from a local HVAC business on TV. They said that they were offering a special deal for first time customers who wanted to join their heating and a/c service program. When I heard this, my ears perked up and I started thinking about what a good idea an HVAC service program would be for a birthday present for my mom. She’s a single of those people who honestly prefers to run the a/c all the time while we were in the summer. She works outside for most of the morning because she works for a golf course. She always riding around on golf carts in the boiling sunshine and so when she gets home she likes to turn the thermostat down and feel the cooling feeling of the a/c, but since she depends so much on her a/c for her comfort, I thought that an HVAC service idea might be just the right thing for her. When I went into the HVAC business to sign my mom up for the heating and cooling service plan, I told the lady at the front desk what I was planning on doing. She had a special gift card that I could sign and give to my mom!
