A few weeks ago, our idiot partner Stan decided that he was going to try and repair our broken central air conditioner component entirely by himself.
He’s not actually that handy of a guy, so it wasn’t the best idea that I believe he had ever had.
I tried to tell him to just forget about doing it himself and quickly stop to call our local heating and cooling corporation instead, but he’s just a little bit stubborn, if you didn’t guess. Once Mike gets something into his head, he’s going to do it or even die trying. Well, this time, he nearly did kill himself accidentally! He actually was messing around with the central AC component and he forgot to first turn the power off before he touched a particular section of the AC unit that day. He ended up shocking himself and causing sparks to fly and the associated breakers to flip! That’s when I put our foot down and told him that there was no freaking way that I was going to let him keep messing around with our massive Heating and Air Conditioning system. Not only was he going to tear up our heating and cooling system that day, however he was also going to end up seriously injuring himself or even outright killing himself by trying to repair the AC! I was so mad at him for being so seriously stubborn that I could have smacked him. Of course, I didn’t. Instead, I called the nearest local Heating and Air Conditioning corporation myself and made an immediate appointment. He needed to accept defeat.
