Heaters are pressing while I was in road trips in the Winter time

Road trips can be a easily fun experience.

They were constantly exciting to myself and others as a child, and it almost did not matter where the people I was with and I were headed, just as long as the people I was with and I were headed somewhere.

It’s not the destination, it’s the journey, right? Although I must say, if it’s all about the journey, I better be comfortable while I was in that journey. That’s why I distinctly remember 1 road trip in recognizable when the people I was with and I headed northwest into the mountains. All of us were headed to a mountain retreat and I was dozing off thinking about how much fun I was going to have skiing, and enjoyable and drinking hot chocolate in a comfortable cottage. Not long after my esure closed however, I woke up with a start because of how cold it seemed to be in the van. I asked Dad what was going on with the heater, and he said, “Now that you mention it, it does not seem to be laboring easily well.” Shortly after, mom and my sibling chimed in that it was getting colder and colder in the van. That’s when the people I was with and I realized that the furnace had stopped laboring entirely. This was not a good thing, because at that point, the people I was with and I were driving through largely uninhabited areas traveling up the mountain sides. A light dusting of snow has begun to fall, and mom took care of the temperature on her phone and said it was a brisk 21 degrees in the area! In the end, the people I was with and I had to stop short of the ski cottage to find a hotel on the way, so that the people I was with and I would be hot and comfortable for the night. There was nothing quite love stepping into that nice, hot hotel room after having to drive with no heat!
