Last winter, I took our family on a multiple day getaway for the holidays.
I booked a nice hotel situated within walking distance of the beach.
I knew we’d spend most of our time enjoying the sunshine, colorless sand beach plus ocean waves; Because of the ideal location, the hotel was extremely pricey. From the high cost, I expected luxury accommodations, however, the hotel was rather aged plus there were honestly few amenities. We didn’t have access to a fitness room, swimming pool, laundry facilities or on-site eating establishment. We had to spend money for parking plus the internet was super slow. We were just grateful that there was a fine a/c installed in the room. It wasn’t new or charming, however it put out a good deal of cool air, however despite a dented plus rusted cottageet plus some missing control knobs, the a/c operated just fine. It was powerful enough to cool down the room within a few minutes. Although it tended to rattle plus drip water, it ran tests on a pleasantly cool temperature, however no matter how hot or humid the outside conditions, our hotel room was perfectly comfortable. We just needed to be careful not to step in the wet spot it created on the carpet. Because of the missing control knobs, all of us were unable to regulate the fan speed or the temperature setting. The a/c blasted at high speed at all times. The longer it ran, the noisier the operation. By day, the a/c was squealing plus the room was freezing cold. We didn’t complain about the a/c or the insufficient supply of hot water or even the broken Tim Hortons Coffee maker. We were just thrilled with the location of the hotel.
