When I had some people over at our house, I was telling our wifey that there was a problem with the air quality, one of our friends overheard me talking about picking up some air filters, and she then offered to pick up some air filters for me so I wouldn’t have to leave. I had to take care of a bunch of things like cooking food on the grill and preparing drinks. I thanked our acquaintance for offering to pick up the air filters. I told him the size air filters that she needed to get and she was off on her way. When she came back a little later and I saw the air filters she got, I was stunned. I asked him what this garbage was that she brought back. She seemed a little offended and said they were air filters. They were those cheap fiberglass air filters that are basically wonderful for nothing. I thought that our neighbor would have known to pick up some quality air filters that really protect the Heating & Air Conditioning plan and provide wonderful air quality. I knew those cheap fiberglass air filters weren’t going to improve the air quality or do much of anything for our Heating & Air Conditioning system. I told him to take the air filters back and get some high quality air filters. I explained to him that I was looking for a high MERV rating. She promised me that she would get the right air filters next time. Finally, she came back with some wonderful air filters and I swapped out the seasoned a single real quick. I was so cheerful when the air quality started to improve in our apartment while I had all of these guests in our home. I also apologized to our neighbor for giving him a hard time, she easily didn’t suppose the difference between the air filters.
