I didn’t care for the radiant heated floor at first

I moved in with my grandson a few months back.

I know some people say I should’ve moved into what they call an “old folk’s home.” Another word for that is a nursing home.

I didn’t want to move into one of those. No family, talking to strangers, and feeling lonely wondering when you’ll see someone you love again. That wasn’t for me at all but I’m thrilled that my grandson came through and asked if I would like to move into one of her dining rooms. She did have a home with three dining rooms and she lives alone with no youngsters. This was wonderful because I can still be around family and not feel lonely, and I can stay away from all those creepy people at the old folks’ home. I know she works a lot but we still do lunch and sometimes watch a show together. I have family and that’s what matters most to me these mornings. Recently, she had radiant floors installed by a very nice heating and cooling tech named Carl! Carl was nice, but the radiant floors, not so much. Why would an heating and cooling company create radiant floors to begin with? Still, I appreciate the cool wood on my feet and these radiant floors stole that from me. I hated it and I expressed my dissatisfaction with my grandson countless times. I expressed my dissatisfaction until fall started up. The radiant floors became an attractive thing. Getting out of the shower, out of bed, or even getting in the home after being outside and touching the floors was amazing; From that afternoon on, I never hated the radiant floors again.
