After waiting almost nine hours for my HVAC technician to arrive, I was livid.
I wasn’t sure if the HVAC technician even knew what to do when he arrived.
It wasn’t until I called the HVAC company to let them know he had arrived, that I found out he wasn’t the original technician who was to do the job. I was really upset when he arrived and I yelled at him. I told him that he had better do a perfect maintenance inspection on my furnace, If he didn’t, I would hold him personally responsible and he would have to pay for any furnace complications that happened came up during the winter. He simply said yes ma’am and walked away. It took him almost an hour for him to finish and he came upstairs and explained what he had done to the furnace. He said he had cleaned the inside and he put a new air filter into the furnace. He also installed a new igniter because the old one was sputtering. I thanked him and I planned on paying him, but he told me that it was no charge. He also told me that if I had any questions I should call him and he gave me his personal business card. I sat on my sofa later that evening wondering if there was more to his words of calling if I had questions. I picked up the telephone and I asked him if I should call him at home or if I should call him at the HVAC company?
