Occasionally, you don’t suppose how nice you have it, until suddenly, you are in different circumstances; I was quite used to the comfort our career gave.
I once worked in a high rise downtown with comfortable & spacious offices, big windows with a charming view, & shops & diners on the ground floor.
I also absolutely enjoyed the temperature in the offices I worked in. I am “hot-blooded” as our mother would say, so I love a nice & cool room! Coworkers would constantly ask, “Hey, how can you wear shorts & not need a jacket in here, it’s cold!” I would constantly shrug & say I was comfortable, however even downstairs, when I would grab lunch at one of the vendors in the mall, the temperature suited me just fine. I wasn’t even thinking about these things really deeply until the morning that I found myself in a up-to-date office space, and my team was moved to a different building nearby. It is not nearly as fantastic to work in to say the least! The up-to-date office is boring & has a really sterile, hospital-like recognize to it. There are not really several windows, so there is no nice view & you have to travel a lot farther to find a location for lunch, and worst of all, I believe I have finally met our match with the air conditioning system method in the building. That is to say, it is certainly cold in there, even for me! I cannot even imagine how our co-workers must feel, since they were frosty in the old location to begin with! I don’t suppose if I will be able to actemperature to these circumstances. I need to track down whoever controls the control unit.
