My town has been the center of a peculiar event.
It’s not a long street, maybe only 16 houses.
Something peculiar is happening in this town. In the last week, every house has had its heater break down. The strangest thing is that our electric heater is still working. We had some jealous neighbors for sure. This week, I noticed many Heating and A/C service vehicles at many homes. Last night, the town got together to discuss the option of why they were targeted by someone. My child Drew was blamed by some as the culprit. Drew has done some crazy things in the past year, so I couldn’t actually defend him, however I still didn’t want to know it. If he went around damaging people’s gas heaters, I’d be so annoyed that he wouldn’t live to see another day. After talking about it a little more I realized that I was the only one in the area that had an electric heater and most people else had a gas heater. A few years back, our street had a flood and I had an Heating and A/C worker inspect my system to make sure everything was fine. No one else on my street did and the HVAC expert advocated that I have my heating and cooling system upgraded because he could see it being an issue sooner rather than later. That day, I knew I had to change my heating and cooling system from a gas heater to an electric one. It was expensive but I wanted to change it up. So, while I see the Heating and A/C vans at people’s houses this week, I’m hoping they bring up the option of flooding I had a few years back so Drew can not feel guilty for something he didn’t do this time.
