I have a friend of mine that is always having problems with his heating and air conditioning system. If his heating system isn’t broken this month then his air conditioning system is broken next month, he’s always complaining to me about how he’s paying so much money for the cost of repairs. I’ve given him advice on what to do to avoid having to pay all these heating and AC repairs but he doesn’t listen to any of my advice so I’m not sure how he expects to fix this problem if he doesn’t do anything to fix it. This month again he was complaining to me that his heating system was broken and now he was all cold because he had no heat. I told him that why didn’t he just get his heating and air conditioning systems tuned up and serviced? However, he acted like my suggestion to properly take care of his heating and AC system was a ridiculous one and he told me that that’s just something that he didn’t have an AC system to get extra money out of you. I’d finally had enough of him not listening to me. He was either going to need to listen or deal with the consequences of not taking care of his heating and AC system. So I told him point blank that what he needed to do is have his HVAC system to end up in serviced, he already told me that he never did and I knew that was why he was having all these issues. I told him that if he had just had that taken care of he wouldn’t have any further problems with this heating and cooling system. I told him to repair his heating and AC unit and then have him service as well and he shouldn’t have any more problems. I had to scold him almost to get him to listen but eventually I guess it did sink because he told me that he didn’t decide to have the tune-ups before. Just like magic after the turnips were finished, he suddenly didn’t have any heating and AC system troubles anymore. I didn’t want to say I told you so but it was hard not to.
