For the past few years I have been living on my own and in all honesty I have been loving it for the most part. Despite how much I have been enjoying my time living free of roommates and all of the things that go along with it, I have found that there are some things that come along with it are extremely annoying. It’s hard to put into words, but to give you an example of something that drives me off the walls is every time my old and run down heating and cooling unit starts to have problems and I am forced to reach out to an HVAC company around town. This might not seem like it would be a big deal, but almost every time that I have to interact with them I have a problem come up. The last time I had a certified HVAC repair tech come out to fix up my heating and cooling unit he ended up taking so long that I started to think he was just trying to get as much money out of me as he could. I don’t know tons of information when it comes to HVAC repair, but I know when someone is trying to play me like a fool. At this point I think that I would rather have to go without any heating and cooling in my home than have to deal with the same old problems when trying to hire somebody. My friends think that a mindset like this is over the top, but if you ask me as long as I don’t trust any HVAC repair company enough to hire then I might as well wait until I find somebody that I do.
