When my neighbor saw me struggling with the first AC unit, he came over to the house.
Have you ever gotten to a point where you just wanted to throw your hands up in the air and give up. That is exactly where I was last week. I feel like I am being a pain in everyone’s butt. I don’t ask for much. I try not to interfere in my children’s lives. I very seldom ask for anything. The only request I make is for help to get my two AC units out of the spare bedroom and into the bedroom and living room windows. Then I don’t bother them for another six months. I swear it is the only time I get to see my youngest grandson, because no one visits unless I invite them. Last month, I asked for help. Three weeks later, it was eighty-five in the house, and I attempted to install the AC units by myself. I had the smaller AC unit installed into the window and the window was closed to hold it in place. I had to do a little repositioning of the AC unit to make sure it was seated right. I finished the job, and I was proud when I plugged in the AC unit and it worked. It was lodged properly, and I had it sealed in place. The other AC unit was a bit heavier. When my neighbor saw me struggling with the first AC unit, he came over to the house. He asked if he could help me install the second AC unit. Within ten minutes, he had it installed and running for me. He even checked the one in the bedroom to make sure it was okay.
