Improving hotel comfort with new HVAC systems

I run a 2-star hotel at the town center, and during winter, I do not have customers streaming in and making orders compared to summer periods.

  • So I decided to do a survey and ask a few customers how they found their stay and almost all of them singled out the inadequate HVAC.

I had not thought of installing new HVAC systems in that hotel because it was still new. I wanted it to stabilize first before I thought of doing other things, but I guess I have to prioritize ticking the air conditioner install off the checklist. A friend referred me to an HVAC provider who helped them with their installations when they moved to their new home. The provider sent over an HVAC repairman who was to start the installations immediately, but first, he had to take me through what he wanted to install, how much it would cost and the heating and cooling equipment needed. I learnt that for a hotel to run well and customers to be comfortable, there should be a quality air purification system. The provider’s air conditioner service was fair and quite affordable, and that motivated me to do more installations in the hotel. The provider chose for me the best residential HVAC for my hotel, and his repairman also did a great job because I understand most of them are reckless with laying the HVAC duct, leading to costly ductwork cleaning. After my central heating started delivering both heating and cooling throughout the hotel, I decided to seek energy saving help. With time, I was able to install dampers to be able to have zone control in different parts of the hotel.
