If the air filters are changed monthly or even more often depending on your home situation, the air filters get blocked which stops the airflow to your HVAC equipment, and it can destroy the system. Air filters should be changed no less than monthly. They now have special air filters just for homeowners who have pets. The HVAC system is a big selling point. If you want to sell your home in the future, take good care of your HVAC system. If your HVAC system is older, you can recoup more than twice the amount of a new HVAC system at the time of the sale, if you replace it. Location used to be the biggest selling point in real estate. Now, it is HVAC along with location. Take care of your HvAC system if you want to get a good price when you sell your home.
