I am very loyal to my family, even to a fault.
- I have always been like this because that’s how my parents raised me.
However, my loyalty has really gotten me into some trouble in the past. I have let my family affect and influence me more often than I would like to admit. So as I have gotten older, I am really trying my best to make sure that I make my own opinions and I do what I want to do. Well, when my HVAC system broke down a few weeks ago it would have been the perfect time to practice this new mindset. However, instead of calling an HVAC company that I knew had great reviews, I decided to use my family’s HVAC company. I know that my family’s HVAC company will get the job done, but I’m not sure they are the best HVAC company in town. However, I knew that if my mom found out I used another HVAC company instead she would lose her mind. To me it’s not worth the argument with her and I just called my uncle to make an appointment. I also know that by using my family’s HVAC company I will be saving money because they give me a great deal. However, sometimes it’s worth it to pay a little bit more money and have the job done right the first time. This time I am going to use my family’s HVAC company, but I have to put my foot down next time!
