“I fixed it!” he exclaimed, and proudly pointed at our now puffing out heat heater
“Have you fixed it yet?” I asked, while I bent over to see what my husband was working on. He appeared to be digging around in our heating system’s interior. “Not yet, I’ll be done soon though.” he replied. My husband was currently attending a HVAC college, so when our furnace broke down, he took it as a perfect opportunity to try his hand at fixing it. He’s been working a while without much progress, but he looked determined. I left him to his repairing and decided to continue practicing pottery. While he was learning how to fix heating and cooling machines, I was trying to learn a new art skill. Eventually when I get good enough, I would like to open my own art shop. But first, I would not only like to get better at pottery, but learn other art skills as well. I quickly became lost in trying to perfect my pottery project, I became so distracted when I heard my husband suddenly whoop for joy, I accidentally dropped my pottery piece all the floor. My face fell as I saw my once perfectly formed pottery sink into a grey blob. I threw the grey blob away and went to check on my husband. Judging by the whooping and hollering I knew he fixed, not that I doubted him to begin with. “I fixed it!” he exclaimed, and proudly pointed at our now puffing out heat heater. “Good job honey!” I kissed him on the cheek and while I felt happy for him, I was still a bit dejected at my lost project. But I didn’t tell him, because I didn’t want to ruin his mood.
