I went on a road trip recently with two of my best friends.
We packed up my little truck, buckled ourselves in, and turned on the air conditioning.
Additionally, the two gals not driving ended up taking their shoes off. So much for my vehicular environmental comfort. At least we were all in an air-conditioned paradise. My truck has always had a powerful heating and cooling capacity. I am really quite proud of it. Anyhow, normally someone taking off their shoes does not bother me in the slightest, but normally the fresh air from outside does a proper job of ventilating the inside of my truck. There was a smell, it was not the worst smell, but it was not pleasant either. Maybe I do need to have my air conditioner looked at, because this had never happened before. I had always had a very acceptable indoor air quality inside my vehicle before. But something was different this time around. Maybe it was one of the snacks my friends brought. Maybe I will never know. I still had a good time, and we still saw all the sights we wanted. We rocked out to some of our old songs, music that was popular when we were in high school. We caught up with each other’s lives. We made fun of each other and played “dress up,” which is really just showing one another our current favorite outfits. We all had a genuinely good time from what I can tell. I’m just a little worried about what the smell inside my vehicle was when I had the air conditioner on.
