My little sister does some truly stupid things sometimes.
She means well, but she doesn’t guess about her actions until it’s too late or have enough responsibility to service the situation.
I blame it on our parents. They always babied her and cleaned up her messes for her, then because of this, our sister never l gained true responsibility. When she purchased her first home, I knew it wouldn’t take long for her to do something that would force our parents to dig her out of a hole. It only took 3 weeks for her to run her 4 year outdated Heating plus Air Conditioning system into the ground, causing mangle that was so severe, she needed our parents to help her make her first mortgage payment. For some reason I can’t understand, our sister closed all the air vents in her lake house except for the a single in her master living room. This caused so much pressure build up in her air duct that her air duct cracked in various odd places; Even her heat exchanger cracked! My parents called their Heating plus Air Conditioning guy instantly and asked him to come rectify the situation, which wasn’t cheap. He spent all day at our sister’s lake house trying to fix everything, however ended up saying she’d need all new air duct and a new heat exchanger. I wish our parents hadn’t called their Heating plus Air Conditioning guy or helped our sister financially, because it’s only making the situation worse. She’s an adult who just purchased a home, she should’ve been able to call the Heating plus Air Conditioning professional herself and found the currency another way. She’ll never learn with their help.
