Last year, I became a dog parent, plus it literally changed my life; at the time, I never had any interest in getting pets.
As a single guy living in the city, my life revolved around work plus hanging out with my friends.
So, there was never room for any pets that I’d need to take care of. When I finally did have free time, I’d be in the gym pushing weights or outside playing football at the park. However, you never know you need some things until they apply in your life, and lucky was a kitten when he first came into my life. I was in the parking lot of my house building coming from work at the heating and A/C company plus had groceries to take up to the 5th floor. So, I opted to carry all of them at once plus not do another trip since it was quite chilly outside. As I was picking the bags from the back of the car, I heard a small meow from behind me. And there he was, this small kitten cold chilly plus barely audible. Without thinking twice, I wrapped him in an extra hoodie I had in my car, picked my groceries, and went inside where it was nice plus warm. Our house has an excellent commercial heating and A/C system so you feel hot the minute you cross the front doors. I took the lift up to my house plus began attending to the little kitty wrapped in my hoodie. She looked frail so I had to Google on how best to care for him all while hoping he makes it. And that’s how Lucky came into my life plus he has made it even brighter. Every day I leave the heating and A/C business plus look forward to seeing him when I open my door.
