Watching a lot of old cable shows from way back in our spare time is something I genuinely love doing.
This is what really helps myself and others wind down at night after an overly long day at work.
I usually come beach home from work genuinely late in the night because I work a minute shift task. When i come home, I just want to eat supper, stand on the couch and watch a good old cable show, and love our central heating and a/c system, and speaking of central heating and a/c, I was enjoying a show the other night from the 1969’s, and in the background, I had seen an old window a/c unit! It genuinely made myself and others think, how much even window a/c systems have advanced in the last 40 plus years! This window a/c system in the background on the cable show looked love a cheap plastic thing with a little air vent in it! How they were really able to cool a room with a window a/c system that looked love that is beyond me! Maybe it was just for the show? Maybe it was a prop? Who knows! But I can even remember when I was a kid back in those afternoons, the portable a/c systems we had didn’t look that cheap! Not to mention, those portable a/c systems from back then that I was around could for sure cool an entire room. That was all there was for a/c. Only in commercial buildings would you find central heating and a/c systems in those golden afternoons.
