Recovering from my surgery with a/c

The hospital I was at also kept themselves really icy cold, and it felt pretty good recovering wise

Recently, I have had an open heart surgery to replace a valve that was no longer working. Since I am older at 66, my family were quite worried, and I had some risks that made it more likely for something to go wrong during the surgery. I was worried, but I knew the consequences of not getting the surgery would be much greater, and at least with surgery it could be successful and I could go on with my life. Thankfully, the surgery was a success and I am now recovering here at my home a month later. The wound still hurts, but it is healing well with no signs of infection. Something that I noticed is that my cooling system is actually really helping me. Maybe because whenever I go outside, I notice how hot it is outside. I am really glad I don’t have to deal with the heat otherwise it would probably make it so much harder to recover. I wonder if that’s why the hospitals keep the place so cold. The hospital I was at also kept themselves really icy cold, and it felt pretty good recovering wise. My family, who wasn’t recovering, disagreed. Anyways, I have kept my HVAC unit busy with keeping me cool, and even if I have to deal with higher energy bills, it’s worth it rather than dealing with the heat. I am glad that I have a reliable air conditioning component, otherwise I would be in trouble and since I am in no condition to have company over, I wouldn’t be able to call over a HVAC technician.
