Special projects call for special graphic designers – like myself

In elementary school, I began my study of computers and computer science.

The info was intriguing in a word, so I learned quite a bit more about websites, computers, graphic animation and more during middle and high school.

By college, I wound up taking several graphic design classes as well as computer programming classes. By the time I finished my degree, I was hired to work for a graphic design company! The graphic design supplier works on a variety of projects, though most of them are for commercial companies. They have some local projects here and there, and they hired me to get to work on that team specifically. Only a couple of weeks ago though, I was hired on by the company to a special team, where I was to work on my first graphic design project! I was in charge of creating several banners as well as other advertisements for a festival taking place in the winter, and I knew the festival well! It is held in the nearby town, and I would go to it pretty often myself. I had a lot of solid ideas to share about the banner, so I created some particularly cool graphics seemed pretty ideal for the festival. Once the proofs were sent out to the customer, I sent all of the materials over to the printers! From there, we all waited a few weeks for the banners. Once they came in, I knew for a fact that these would be a hit – save for a severe typo on the vinyl! On the bottom of the banner, the name of my website was listed in bold white letters – that wasn’t intentional. I had to wait several more weeks for the banners, but the commercial printing repair fixed the error at their expense!
