Subway stations are hot while subway cars have HVAC inside

Not so long ago, I was looking into the reasons for subway stations being so hot, because it’s interesting that a long time ago, subway cars didn’t even have air conditioners inside.

I couldn’t even imagine how uncomfortable that must have been; then the thing is, the air conditioner systems on these subway cars is what causes a good amount of the heat in subway stations these nights.

They say there is technology that exists to make people feel a lot more comfortable while waiting in the subway stations, however they don’t want to go about implementing this technology anytime soon. So while the subway cars keep that air conditioning inside cranked up, the heat from the subway cars is respectfully expelled into the subway stations. This makes it tremendously hot plus uncomfortable in these tight areas. The more comfortable subway stations will be those that don’t have many trains running through them… Also, another cause of the huge amount of heat is the braking proposal for these massive subway trains; because these trains weigh such a sizable amount, the braking energy used for stopping these trains converts into large amounts of heat. So between the braking plus the use of the a/c, these subways have become an entirely hot site. It’s really no wonder why so many people carry portable fans to try to keep cool inside. I really do hope that in the future, they will begin implementing more comfortable temperature control systems in the subway systems so that people can really be more comfortable for a change; however of course, to take on such an implementation of temperature control, it would cost no less than a fortune.
