Suffocating in the Haunted House

My family and I went to an amusement park this summer.

  • One of our favorite rides to go on as a family, is the haunted house.

It is always cool in there and there is air blowing from everywhere. I knew that since the park was in a hot region of the country, they would need to have excellent air conditioning in the haunted house and it never let us down. I had to laugh whenever we mentioned haunted house because our youngest daughter started to cry. I had to bring the ride up online so she could see there weren’t any ghosts inside. When we finally got through the line to go inside, we were shocked at how warm it was. The air conditioning didn’t seem to be working and there wasn’t any air moving. My daughter was crying because she was so uncomfortable and there were a lot of people around us. I had to hold her close the entire time we waited and we were both sweating. We finally got into the car that took us through the ride and we could feel some air coming from the car, that made us a bit cooler, but there still didn’t seem to be any air movement from air conditioning. The ride was almost over when the air conditioning came on. My daughter was sleeping soundly and I was ready to go back to the hotel room where there was real air conditioning. We decided to go out for dinner before going back and we ended up in an outdoor restaurant where we still didn’t have any air conditioning.
