Why is my brother so horrible with the air conditioning? It’s the middle of winter and he has it on.
Sure, we had a spike in the temperature of 56 degrees, however that is not a reason to turn on the air conditioning.
I didn’t know I needed to find a place to stay so badly that it had to be here, in this frozen house. I see him walking around in shorts and a t-shirt looking happy while I’m over here with two pairs of pajama bottoms, a hoodie, slippers, and a heated blanket just to try and stay warm. Now I know why a few weeks he had the Heating and A/C system looked at. Actually, I don’t know why, however my thinking is that he is trying to get me to want to go stay elsewhere. The joke is on him though, I can’t afford to move out. All I can do is buy extra sets of clothing to try and stay warm in his freezing home. I’m still shocked at the fact it’s 56 degrees and my brother is rocking shorts. I feel I’m in an absurd place living this way. I tried confronting him about it but he said and I quote, “My house, my rules.” That is just so unfair. I wish Ruth didn’t move out of state before winter or I’d stay with her. After college, everything has been insane. I didn’t know where to go and I don’t want to live with my parents again. I know I can deal with this, it might be a day or two, however everything will be back to normal soon.
